🌱 What stays on your device?
ChillSpace does not require an account. Information you create in the browser — such as your display name, messages, saved friends or contacts, posts, preferences and daily-challenge progress is stored in your browser’s local storage on your device, or by the app's local data storage.
That means ChillSpace does not receive or keep that locally stored content in a central message database. If you use a different browser or device, your local content may not follow you.
💬 Messages & bot replies
Messages stay inside ChillSpace’s local experience. The Messages feature does not send your messages to WhatsApp, Instagram, email, ChatGPT or other messaging apps.
Bot replies are generated by built-in, local response logic. They are not sent to an external AI service for a reply. Your browser or device may use its own speech feature if you choose to listen to text.
🌐 What the website host may see
When your browser loads ChillSpace, the website hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process basic technical information — such as your IP address, browser details and request time — to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the site. This is different from accessing your locally stored messages.
ChillSpace’s policy is never to use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Hosting infrastructure may still process technical connection data as part of serving the website. Don't want that? Try the Android app or download the HTML!
🥸 What they don't see
Your posts, comments, searches, messages, what you watch, or anything else. No HTTP requests are made when you send. All they know is that you've opened ChillSpace.
📤 If you share something yourself
ChillSpace Messages does not route messages through other apps or Ai. If you independently copy text, take a screenshot, or paste a link or content into another service, that service will handle anything you share according to its own privacy policy.
🛜 Network requests in the ChillSpace app
The ChillSpace app makes no network requests besides loading fonts. The app works fully in airplane mode, except for a slightly different font. In the upcoming v1.4, the fonts will be removed, meaning the entire app will not request network at all.
🧹 You’re in control
Your browser keeps the local data, so you can remove it by clearing the site’s or storage or browsing data in your browser settings, or clearing the app data in your device settings. Be aware this can also delete saved names, messages, friends and progress, and may not be reversible.
You can also simply stop using a feature if you don’t want to create more local data.
🧸 Younger visitors
ChillSpace is not designed for children under 13. Parents or guardians can clear locally stored site data through the browser settings on the device.

If the way ChillSpace handles information changes, we’ll update this policy and the date above. The latest version should always be available on this page.
